Epcot is home to amazing attractions and immersive pavilions, but it also provides some really cool experiences that you can’t find anywhere else in Disney World.

Backstage tours are a great way to experience the park like never before. Epcot offers tours like Behind the Seeds, DiveQuest, and Dolphins in Depth.

In particular, the water-related tours in the Land pavilion give you the chance to get wet and interact with underwater creatures! However, we will see some closures within the next month.

Disney is permanently re-locating an 1,800 pound rescued manatee named Lou. He will move to a rehabilitation center in Florida that specializes in manatees. Another manatee will soon arrive at Epcot to join Lil Joe.

In addition, Disney is also permanently relocating three dolphins to the Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park.

The Dolphins in Depth backstage tour will permanently close next month a they will no longer have dolphins. And, the DiveQuest is also temporarily suspended after October 19, 2025. This experience will return in 2025.

These tours are incredibly unique and immersive ways to experience wild life at Disney World. While they are not well-known among Disney Guests, if you do have the chance to experience them they provide a way to see these amazing creatures up close.

If you have been wanting to try either of these experiences, we suggest booking them before they close next month. Thankfully, the DiveQuest tour will return at some point in 2025.
