Thick Smoke Forces Disney World Bus Evacuation
Disney transportation is a big benefit of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort. Unfortunately, what started as a magical day came to an unexpected stop.
"Disney Bubble"
One of the main reasons guests choose to stay at a Walt Disney World resort is the benefit of staying within the "Disney Bubble." The idea behind the "Disney Bubble" is that once you arrive at Walt Disney World, you never have to leave the Disney magic.
Many feel that a Walt Disney World vacation is too expensive for the average family, particularly with many free perks removed. Now, it seems Disney is trying to add new perks to entice guests to stay inside the "Disney Bubble."
Most recently, these new perks include the COOL KIDS' Summer activities and the return of free Aiport Luggage Transfer.
Disney Bus Incidents
Many guests also enjoy Disney transportation which allows them to sit back and relax to enjoy all of the fun activities throughout the Walt Disney World Resort.
Although we have seen incidents in the past, it is safe to say that no one was expecting an emergency evacuation while riding on a Disney bus.
An emergency call was dispatched at 7:11 pm on July 20, 2026, when a Disney bus produced thick smoke.

According to Reddit user HippoOk663, this bus incident occured in the left hand lane on Osceola Parkway exit ramp heading towards Disney's All Star Resorts. Thankfully it appears that all Guests were safely evacuated.

The unfortunate news is that this eventually shut down this roadway. The Reddit user noted that when they later passed by this area 2 hours later, all lanes were reopened.
This is a very popular intersection for Walt Disney World Guests as it affects travel to all 3 All Star Resorts, McDonalds, and Disney's Blizzard Beach.
