Disney World Just Changed the Free Airport Luggage Transfer Service
Just like that, Walt Disney World made a big change affecting the free Airport Luggage Service. See what changed with this free perk.
Disney Airport Luggage Transfer

Disney is taking action after coming under scrutiny for many Disney resort perks missing over the years. In 2025, we shared that Pop Century was being used to try this new airline check-in for guests flying Southwest.
The Airport Luggage Transfer Program soon expanded to all five Walt Disney World Value Resorts. This includes All-Star Movies, All-Star Sports, All-Star Music, Pop Century, and Art of Animation.
You can review Kate's experience using this perk HERE. Full details for this luggage service is available HERE.
Airlines Added for Disney's Airport Luggage Transfer

Last April, we shared that this perk is expanding to include additional airlines, including American and United Airlines.
Within a few hours, the Walt Disney World website removed these airlines. Then, almost a full month later, Disney once again added that both American and United Airlines would offer Airport Luggage Transfer to Walt Disney World.
We feel a bit of deja vu as this has happened once again.
Delta Airlines Disney Airport Luggage Transfer

Earlier today, Walt Disney World added Delta Airlines to the listing of airlines offering Airport Luggage Transfer. Now, a few hours later, this has been removed.
Delta Airlines was added and later removed as offering Walt Disney World Airport Luggage Transfer Service.
Disney shares that additional airlines may be added soon. It will be interesting to see if this was a similar error and if Delta Airlines will be added in the coming month. At this time, the only airlines offering Airport Luggage Transfer are American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, and United Airlines.
This service is currently only available for Guests staying at All-Star Movies, All-Star Sports, All-Star Music, Pop Century, and Art of Animation.

I think it’s absolutely ridiculous that the Deluxe Resorts don’t receive the same benefits that the value resorts do!!!!!!
I agree with you. I thought that this service would have expanded to more resorts by now.
