Disney has made a traffic pattern change near Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. They prepared incoming Guests that had upcoming reservations (dining and room) of this change by email. You can read the details HERE.

The intersection of Seven Seas Drive and Floridian Way closed on July 13, 2026!

With this new traffic pattern also came warnings about where Guests should check-in if they are staying at the Island Tower at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.

Disney also opened a new Bus Stop at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Please keep in mind that the Island Tower at Disney's Polynesian does not have its own bus stop.

It has been reported that the Polynesian Village Resort now shares a bus with Disney's Contemporary Resort instead of the Grand Floridian.

Because you can no longer turn right onto Floridian Way from Seven Seas Drive, Disney had to adjust the bus routes for the Magic Kingdom Resort Hotels.

It has been reported that the Polynesian now shares a bus with Disney's Contemporary Resort. The Wilderness Lodge now shares with The Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, and the Grand Floridian is NOT currently sharing a bus with any other hotel.

This is important if you are planning to visit another resort for a dining or recreation activity reservation, as you will want to double check the bus stop number. At this time, it is not known if these route changes are temporary or permanent.
