Popular Disney Treat Location is Closing Soon for Reimagining

Love them or hate them, reimaginings are a way for Disney to bring new experiences without having to actually build anything. Nevertheless, they promise great new things for the future.

Splash Mountain. Test Track. Dinoland. 1900 Park Fare. The list goes on and on of Disney’s recent (or upcoming) reimagining projects in the parks.

These reimaginings can bring a breath of fresh air to the parks for longtime Guests and fans of the parks. However, there are also those who wants the parks to remain exactly the same so they can continue riding all those nostalgic attractions.

Disney will soon close one treat location in order to make way for some newer and better things.

Step back into the past to an old-fashioned candy shop that is reminsicent of Walt Disney’s hometown in Marceline, Missouri.

The confectionery sells so many delicious treats including candy apples, toffee, chocolate-covered pretzels, almonds, popcorn, and more. Be sure to watch the candy makers create these confections through the large glass window!

Marceline’s Confectionery is located in Downtown Disney at the Disneyland Resort. If you have plans to grab some sweet treats on your next visit, you will want to make note of this closure.

Marceline’s Confectionery will close soon as Disney designs an all-new, expanded and completely reimagined confection experience. There is no start or end date for this project.

In addition, The Disney Dress Shop has moved to the WonderGround Gallery location, and select items from the WonderGround may be found in Disney Home.
