Park Reservations

Beginning on January 9, 2024, theme park reservations will no longer be required for date-based tickets. This is great news for guests with the standard theme park ticket.

However, park reservations will still be required for guests with non date-based tickets and Annual Passholders if visiting the parks before 2:00 pm. While park reservations will still be required for most days, beginning on January 11, 2024, Annual Passholders will begin to see “Good to Go” dates on the admission calendar.

These “Good to Go” dates will allow Annual Passholders to visit Theme Parks without making a Park Reservation. These dates will be added sporadically and may be added days or weeks in advance. Disney shares that once a date is declared “Good to Go”, it will remain “Good to Go.”

Disney shared an update regarding “Good to Go” Days. The calendar will update periodically. In the screenshot shown above, it shows the 12th as being a “Good to Go” day. As you can see, all of the parks will be marked with “No Reservations Required”.

As a reminder, also beginning on January 9th, All-Day Park Hopper Access returns! Annual Passholders will be able to visit a second theme park at any time of day during theme park hours. After visiting the first park, Annual Passholders can visit a second park at any time during the day.

After 2:00 p.m., Annual Passholders can enter a theme park without a reservation, except on Saturdays or Sundays at the Magic Kingdom

Seems like Disney is punishing the AP holders by restricting their days while regular ticket holders have freedom to come and go.

Those of us who grew up "doing Disney" no longer care if or when we go back!

Could Disney make it any more confusing to attempt to plan a vacation? Probably...but it's ridiculous now.
