Genie+ makes it easier to do more when visiting Disney World. And today’s price makes it easier to swallow. Take a look and see how much the service is selling for now.
Genie+ is an add-on feature to My Disney Experience that offers more convenience and flexibility. For $15+ per person per day at Disney World and $20+ per person per day at Disneyland, you can choose the next available time to arrive at a variety of attractions and experiences using the Lightning Lane entrance.
However, it is an optional purchase. You have the option to use the standby line instead of purchasing Genie+. You can make one selection at a time throughout the day. 40+ attractions are included at Walt Disney World and 15+ attractions are available at Disneyland.
Since its launch in 2021, Genie+ has seen changes in pricing since launching variable pricing. With date-based theme park ticket pricing and Disney’s announcement that Guests could no longer purchase Genie+ in advance, it makes it hard to budget for Genie+. Disney saw a way to increase revenue during peak crowd levels and capitalized on it.
When crowd levels increase for holidays and school breaks, the need for Genie+ increases to skip attraction lines. The price for Genie+ also increases on these dates.
During high spring break times this year, Genie+ hit the highest price point to date at $35 per person per day. Even with this high price point, the service sold out in record time for several days in a row.
Today’s price for Genie+ is $23 per person at Disney World. This is the lowest price it’s been since early October. Don’t be surprised if this doesn’t last though. The weeks before and after Christmas are usually the busiest. And with increased crowds comes increased prices for Genie+.
Today, Genie+ is selling for $23 per person.
