Connections Eatery is a relatively new quick-service restaurant in Walt Disney World. It is part of Epcot’s reimagining and now stands finished. You can find it in World Celebration, which is one of the new areas being created from what was once Future World.

If you are in Epcot, you will see it near Creations Shop and Club Cool. You may remember when Electric Umbrella stood in the area prior to the massive overhaul that is in progress at Epcot.

Connections Eatery is also connected to Connections Cafe, which is a Starbucks. You can order some of your favorite Starbucks coffee creations while you are there if you like. Read a review of Connections Eatery HERE.

The fire alarm sounded just before 7:30 pm tonight, September 5. Guests were forced to leave the restaurant, and Cast Members gestured everyone out to ensure their safety.

Cast Members – including kitchen and chef positions – were also evacuated. In the photos, you can also see managers are posted at the front entrance of Connections Eatery.

While we are unsure what exactly caused the fire alarm to be set off, we do not see smoke or fire in or around the restaurant. It’s possible something got cooked a bit longer than it should have in the kitchen.

Hopefully everyone is okay, and Guests can get back to their dinner sooner rather than later!
