Some thought it would never happen, but now this Disney Park will soon offer alcohol at several locations.

The sale of alcohol has been in place at Walt Disney World for some time. Over on the West Coast, Disney’s California Adventure offered alcoholic beverages from the very beginning when it opened in 2001. Many felt as though this went against what Walt Disney once envisioned for his parks.

Disney once stated, “No liquor, no beer, nothing.” This stayed true for Disneyland for many years. This was until 2019, at that time alcoholic beverages were available at the Blue Bayou and Oga’s Cantina. Of course, guests at the exclusive Club 33 also enjoyed this privilege as well.

Now the sale of alcohol will expand to several more locations at Disneyland. Starting on September 12, 2023 guests can enjoy wine, beer, specialty cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages at the following table-service locations: Carnation Cafe, River Belle Terrace, and Cafe Orleans.

Starting on September 12, 2023 guests can enjoy wine, beer, specialty cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages at 3 tabel service locations.

This is a big change for this once pretty “dry” park. At this time alcohol will not be available for purchase at quick service locations.

New Menu Options

Along with alcohol, these locations will also offer a few new menu options as well. Carnation Cafre will offer a new Veggie Skillet, Walt’s Chili-Cheese Omelet, and a Bloody Mary (alcoholic). They will also offer a breakfast mimosa, a Peach Pie Margarita (alcoholic), and an Orange Cream Soda (non-alcoholic).

Cafe Orleans will bring the fan-favorite Potato & Sausage Soup. They will offer an alcoholic beverage of the Pimm’s Hurricane and a non-alcoholic option of the Bayou Punch.

River Bell Terrace will offer brunch and will bring 6 more delicious dishes to their menu starting on September 12th including Roasted Summer Squash and BBQ Burnt Ends Pasta. A new alcoholic Wildberry Mule will be available along with a non-alcoholic Mississippi Mud Pie.

More new menu selections will be coming soon.
