As many Disney fans are aware, Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebrations came to an end. At the stroke of midnight on April 1, it was as if the magic of “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” is now officially over. Just like Cinderella in her pumpkin carriage, everything turned back to how it was before.

You can see the plans for the park icons HERE, plans for the 50th golden statues HERE, and the new digital map images HERE. Even an Annual Passholder extra is gone.

However, that doesn’t mean everything is necessarily going back to normal. One fan-favorite character is back, and now we have great news for a 50th anniversary offering that remains even after it’s over.

Disney World Cast Members received a brand new name tag for the 50th Celebration to honor their service and dedication. These debuted all the way back in September 2021, and Cast Members have worn them since.

We wondered what would become of these special name tags once the 50th came to an end. Would Cast Members wear their old name tags? Would they maybe get 100th anniversary name tags like Cast Members over at Disneyland? Those are really fun because these name tags display the Cast Member’s favorite character and not hometown.

Cast Members will continue to wear the EARidescent 50th anniversary name tags until further notice. Time will tell what they get to wear next!
