50th anniversary comes to an end
As many Disney fans are aware, yesterday was the end of the 50th Anniversary celebrations at Walt Disney World. Last night at the stroke of midnight, it was as if the magic of “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” is now officially over. Just like Cinderella in her pumpkin carriage, everything turned back to how it was before.

Town Square Theater
Located just past the Main Street Railroad station, Town Square Theater is home to a couple meet and greets and shopping locations. Not only can you find some magical Disney souvenirs but you can also meet Mickey and (occasionally Minnie Mouse).
Pop in to Mickey’s rehearsal room for the chance to greet Mickey! Discover props and posters from Mickey’s magical career in the theater and maybe even spot a disappearing dove or a rabbit coming out of a hat.
The greatest magic of all happens when Mickey Mouse strikes a pose for a fun photo with you.
Look who’s back
Previously 50th anniversary Mickey greeted Guests for the past 18 months. Now that The World’s Most Magical Celebration is officially over, a “new” Mickey returns to Town Square Theater.
Magician Mickey is back! He dons a red shirt, blue pants, and a blue and yellow cape. It feels like it has been a while since we have seen this costume. He wore his polka dot birthday celebration until later in 2019 when he switched back to this costume. Then, of course, the historic park closure happened and when he returned to his location he wore his 50th anniversary outfit.
Look who left
You may be wondering what became of Mickey’s best girl, Minnie. She occasionally met with Mickey in Town Square Theater in her 50th anniversary dress. There was a time when they met together, but due to (rumored) budget cuts, she magically disappeared towards the end of the celebration.
Since Minnie does not have a magician costume, she is no longer officially meeting at Town Square Theater with Mickey nor does it seem likely she will return.
Magician Mickey is back, but Minnie left Town Square Theater.
As a reminder, there are no live PhotoPass Photographers in this location. This meet and greet utilizes an automated box to take photos.
