There are fun treats and experiences throughout Walt Disney World in the months leading up to Halloween. Now, one fun experience will debut even earlier than in previous years.

Although most of the Halloween fun is available at Magic Kingdom, guests of EPCOT can enjoy Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit. Disney describes this as, "Embark on a festive scavenger hunt around EPCOT to find hidden decorative pumpkins inspired by Disney characters-and receive a spooky prize!"

In previous years, this scavenger hunt began near the end of September through Halloween, or while supplies last. This year, Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit begins on September 2, 2025.

That is the good news; the bad news is that this will cost you even more this year. Earlier, we shared that EPCOT will soon increase the price of scavenger hunts. The price will jump from $9.99 to $11.99 (plus tax) this fall.

To play, pick up your game board and stickers at select merchandise locations, including Disney Traders, Creations Shop, festival markets, and other select shops. Then, have fun searching for hidden decorative pumpkins themed around Disney characters and placing the corresponding stickers on your game board.

Once you've found a character-themed pumpkin, place the board game stickers in the correct location. Next, return your game board to Disney Traders, Gateway Gifts, Creations Shop, or World Traveler for a spooky surprise.
