Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Hollywood Studios allows guests to step into the magic of Hollywood with amazing attractions, the immersive Toy Story Land, and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Not only that, but guests take in the glamour of a bygone era in the theming here in several locations.

At nighttime, guests can enjoy the Wonderful World of Animation which is projected onto the stunning Chinese Theatre. Recently, new animated classics were added to this nighttime show.

Even with all this and the newest addition, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Mickey Mouse remains the star at every Disney theme park.

Missing Mickey Mouse

Although Mickey Mouse can be found throughout Disney’s Hollywood Studios, when guests first arrived recently, they may have noticed he was missing recently from an iconic spot. As soon as guests scan MagicBands to enter the park, guests spot the giant Crossroads of the World statue. As of yesterday, Mickey Mouse and the world that he was standing on were missing.

Mickey Mouse Returns

About every two years, both Mickey Mouse and his globe have a short refurbishment. Typically this refurbishment lasts between two to three weeks.  Today, we’re happy to report that Mickey is back where he belongs, standing on the globe atop the Crossroads of the World statue. This is one of the park icons guests look forward to when visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

We’re happy to report that Mickey has returned to the Crossroads of the World Statue at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
