Do you love extra time in the Disney Parks? See when Extended Evening hours will return to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Extended Evening Hours
Guests staying at Disney Deluxe or Deluxe Villa Resort hotels can enjoy Extended Evening Hours at Walt Disney World. Typically the calendar follows a pattern for Extended Evening Hours on Mondays at EPCOT and Wednesdays at Magic Kingdom. This offers low crowds at both parks for guests. Check out Monica’s review of why staying in a deluxe resort is worth it just for this amazing benefit.
These Resorts include the following:
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
- Disney’s Beach Club Resort
- Disney’s BoardWalk Inn
- Disney’s Contemporary Resort
- Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa
- Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
- Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
- Disney’s Yacht Club Resort
- Disney’s Deluxe Villa Resort
- Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort
- Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney’ Wilderness Lodge
- Copper Creek Villas and Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
- Wilderness Lodge
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas: Jambo House
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas: Kidani Village
- Disney’s Beach Club Villas
- Disneys’ BoardWalk Villas
- Disney’s Old Key West Resort
- Disney’s Polynesian Villas and Bungalows
- Disney’s Riviera Resort
- Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa
- The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa
- Swan and Dolphin
- Shades of Green
You will notice that only two theme parks are mentioned for consistent Extended Evening Hours. Disney’s Animal Kingdom has not offered Extended Evening Hours. Interestingly enough, Disney’s Hollywood Studios has only offered Extended Evening Hours for one evening– that is until now.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Disney’s Hollywood Studios has offered Extended Evening Hours only on Wednesday, April 13. Hollywood Studios remained open from 9:00 to 11:00 pm for deluxe guests only. You can read more about this amazing experience HERE.
We hoped that Extended Evening Hours would continue at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, especially for the busy summer months. Unfortunately, they did not, but now we have added dates for Extended Evening Hours near the end of the year.
Guests staying at Disney Deluxe Resorts can enjoy Extended Evening Hours both on December 15th and December 22nd from 9:00 pm until 11:00 pm.
Guests staying at Disney Deluxe Resorts can enjoy Extended Evening Hours both on December 15th and December 22nd from 9:00 pm until 11:00 pm.

I think Disney's very unfair to Florida passholders. They are obviously catering everything to tourists staying on property Early Park hours no blocked outs! This to meet is so UNFAIR. Tourists are only here for a short time then go back where they came from. Passholders living in Florida can go any day of the week IF there is a STUPID RESERVATION available. Again tourists get any day anytime any park and other perks. Guests from Florida have been turned away one senior citizen couple had this happen to them. It would not have been a hardship for Disney to let them. I hate the reservation system we used to go any day any time or spur of the moment just to get a meal enjoy the lights watch a parade or do a little sight seeing. Candlelight is coming up and passholders are blocked for 2 weeks at Christmas thru New Year's. The absolute best time to go to the parks in all their glory. Disney is loosing passholders due to Florida's love for tourists and their money. I don't think is is so UNFAIR for passholders to be spoiled a little do to the money it does cost to purchase passholders tickets. Year after year and eat drink spend money and be rewarded for their continued love and support to WDW.
