Low Wait Times
One of our fellow crew members was visiting Magic Kingdom yesterday and they were amazed at the low wait times. Yesterday, Magic Kingdom was set to close early to day guests at 6:00 pm for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. This early park closing often creates lower crowds, but yesterday was one for the record books.
Around lunchtime, both Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Peter Pan’s Flight were both at only a 30-minute wait. In addition, Space Mountain was simply a walk on. This was an amazing experience, but we are seeing these lower crowds and lower wait times across Walt Disney World this week.
Amazing Availability

Today, guests visiting EPCOT were shocked to discover that the newest attraction, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, offered amazing availability. There are two ways Disney will load Guests onto the ride: virtual queue and Individual Lightning Lane Selections.
The free way to ride Cosmic Rewind is through the virtual queue. The virtual queue is a lottery-type system that gives you a boarding group. Be sure to check out this detailed guide to obtain a boarding group HERE.
The first virtual queue opens at 7:00 am for Disney Resort Guests. Today, August 31, guests visiting EPCOT are still able to join a virtual boarding group for Cosmic Rewind well after 8:00 am. This is yet another indication that this is a great time to visit Walt Disney World.
