Disney is announcing the holiday fun we have to look forward to this year! With it being the halfway point to the holidays, Disney is already prepping for the season and sharing what all will take place.

When Disney announced the return of Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, we all speculated that the Christmas Party would return this year. I mean, it doesn’t make sense to go back to the party for Halloween but not for Christmas.

Indeed, the Christmas Party is returning this year! We are back to the original format after a two year hiatus. In 2020 they had castle projections and a themed cavalcade. Then, in 2021, they hosted Very Merriest After Hours. You can read my review HERE.

Dates and Pricing

Tickets for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party are limited and may be purchased online beginning July 7, 2022. Guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels can begin purchasing tickets as early as June 30, 2022. Ticket prices will range from $149 – $199 per person. Event dates are:

  • November: 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 22, 27, 29
  • December: 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 11, 13, 15, 16, 18, 20, 22

Onsite guests can purchase tickets on June 30 and everyone can purchase on July 7.

You may notice ticket prices are more expensive than in previous years. These closely line up with Very Merriest After Hour tickets from last year. Hopefully this means Disney will cap attendance and limit the number of people allowed into the event.

As an AP, I am no longer interested in these parties. For my friends who purchase tickets to these events, this is the only time this visit DW.
