Disney World is unfortunately not immune to technological issues whether that be a glitchy reservation system or a full on power surge that closes attractions, resorts, and amenities.

Power outages have recently affected attractions at Disneyland and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Additionally, the Magic Kingdom resorts also experienced several issues after power went out in that area.

It can definitely be inconvenient or downright miserable for those who are affected by such issues. Not being able to ride an attraction is one thing. It’s a whole other thing to have power out at your resort leaving you unable to relax or recharge.

Over at Ft. Wilderness, a power outage is affecting multiple restaurants today, June 13. Both Trail’s End Restaurants and P & J’s Southern Takeout both closed this morning. We are unsure how long the issue will take to be resolved. The restaurants could be back up and running later today or maybe even tomorrow.

Trail’s End Restaurant and P & J’s Southern Takeout at Ft. Wilderness are currently closed due to a power outage.

Other options for guests

Fortunately, there are a few other food options for those looking to grab some food at Ft. Wilderness. They may not be as great as P & J’s or Trail’s End, but there are some options.

The Meadow Snack Bar, Crockett’s Tavern, and the Chuck Wagon are all possible eateries to enjoy while waiting for the other restaurants to reopen. Unfortunately, Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue is not open for a few more weeks.

We hope power is restored at Ft. Wilderness and these restaurants can reopen soon!
