Park Reservations
Holidays and school breaks increase the number of guests at the Disney Parks. Park reservations fill up quickly for these times. Previously, the Disney Reservation Calendar allowed booking through the end of 2023. This has recently been extended through January 2024.
This week we shared the new addition of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT limited Park Reservations in May. Check out the affected dates HERE. Today, select Guests were pleasantly surprised to find that Park Reservations were magically added to their My Disney Experience app today.
Preview Park Reservations
Starting this month, special previews of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind are available for Cast Members, DVC Members, Annual Passholders, and D23 Members. These select previews may have affected the Park Reservations for EPCOT in May.
When Annual Passholder Previews were first available, the Walt Disney Company shared that guests would not need to make a Park Reservation for the date of their preview. When this preview was first booked, it did not appear under My Experiences.
Today, although EPCOT is still unavailable to make a Park Reservation on May 15th, a Park Reservation magically appeared on the My Disney Experience app. On this date, a few fellow writers and I were able to book an Annual Pass Preview for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
Not only do I have a Park Reservation for Magic Kingdom, but now I also have a Park Reservation for EPCOT to enjoy the preview. What is interesting is that this Park Reservation is good for the opening of the park until the closing of the park. This differs from the before mentioned 2:00 pm Park Hopping rule.

I am curious to see how this may affect the crowds at EPCOT through the month of May as speical previews will be available for Guests.
