Most Magical Celebration
Walt Disney World started the 50th Anniversary celebration of Walt Disney World on October 1, 2021. From the illuminated displays on all 4 Theme Park icons to the 50 golden character sculptures throughout each of the four theme parks, there is so much to enjoy at this magical celebration.
Walt Disney World promised that this celebration would continue for a full 18 months. At the beginning the year, Walt Disney World announced a new line-up of 50th Anniversary treats. Today, Walt Disney World released a 3 brand new merchandise lines for this celebration.
And now we have new magic shots that are truly magical for the most magical celebration.
Magic Shots
No trip to the Disney Parks is complete without photos and Disney PhotoPass photographers make it easier than ever to allow your whole family to be part of the photo. There have many great MagicShots available to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World including the confetti photo (featured above), the 50th anniversary balloon MagicShot, and more.
Previously, Guests have enjoyed the Super Zoom MagicShot that allowes the PhotoPass photographer to capture the overall beautiful panoramic view of the Disney Parks while zooming in on your traveling party. This is a very unique photo experience that is avaialbe at all 4 Disney Parks.
Now Guests can enjoy a special 50th Anniversary overlay to this Super Zoom MagicShot at both the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. Unfortunately, this MagicShot is not currently available at Disney’s Animal Kingdom or Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
For a limited time, Guests can enjoy a special 50th Anniversary overlay to this Super Zoom MagicShot at both the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT.
Guests visiting EPCOT can have this photo taken at the entrance of EPCOT in front of Spaceship Earth. Guests visiting Magic Kingdom can find a PhotoPass photographer located near the Plaza Restaurant near the Castle Hub.
