Annual Passholder magnets have been a Passholder staple for many years. However, they have been a little harder to come by since the parks temporarily closed in the spring of 2020. To celebrate the return of annual passes, Disney sent out magnets last fall.

Even though passes are temporarily on pause (no word on when they may return), current Passholders have another magnet to look forward to.

From March 2nd through March 30th, 2022, a new complimentary Passholder magnet will be available at Disney Springs, along with additional Passholder offerings, while supplies last.

This special 50th Anniversary celebration edition magnet features Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse and sparkles with enough EARidescence to brighten any car bumper or refrigerator! You can see it in the screenshot above.

In order to get the magnet, you will have to head to Disney World instead of check your mailbox. A virtual queue will be in place to manage wait times and allow Passholders to enjoy their time at Disney Springs while they wait to pick up their magnet.

Passholders just need to follow three easy steps to receive their magnet:

  1. Ensure your Family and Friends List is up to date. If you are a Passholder, you can can pick up a magnet for other Passholders on your list!
  2. Sign up for the virtual queue on MDE. As long as you are within 45 miles of Disney Springs, you can access the virtual queue beginning at 9:00 am every morning. Disney may also reopen the queue throughout the day as well.
  3. Wait until your return time is called and then head to Disney’s Wonderful World of Memories shop located at the Marketplace.

You must have your Passholder ID and government-issued ID to receive the magnet!

Our annual pass expired in December 2020 and we did not renew because of Covid. We currently have trips scheduled for July and October and plan on going un May of 2023. Really hoping they allow the out of state annual passes real soon. Otherwise, we may consider changing our vacation plans.

This is not fair to those passholdeds who cannot make it down there during those dates. We pay enough money annually that a cheap magnet should be sent out ALL passholders. Disney can afford this small perk for its loyal guests.

This is great but even though we have been annual pass holders for years we are not consistently receiving the magnets. Haven’t received one in more then several years. Why?
