Check out the stars announced for the Disney holiday special

Special Holiday Filming

Earlier this week, we shared that filming was taking place all throughout Walt Disney World last week. This was an amazing experience. Be sure to check out all of the fun photos of the filming at both Magic Kingdom and EPCOT HERE.

At the time, the Walt Disney Company had not yet released a list of performers for this event. But today our Christmas wish has been granted.

Be sure to tune in for the “The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration” Sunday, November 28th at 7:00-9:00pm ET on ABC. This event will be hosted by Derek Hough, Julianne Hough and Ariana DeBose.

Want to add a bit of Disney magic to your Christmas day? Be sure to tune in for the “Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade” on Saturday, December 25th from 10:00am until 12:00pm ET on ABC.

“The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration,” Sunday, November 28th at 7:00-9:00pm ET. “Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade” on Saturday, December 25th from 10:00am until 12:00pm ET on ABC.

Derek Hough and Julianne Hough will return as hosts for this event. They will also be joined by Freeform’s Trevor Jackson (“grown-ish”) and Sherry Cola (“Good Trouble”).

For the “Wonderful World of Christmas”, we will be entrained by a variety of stars including:

  • AFTR PRTY – “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” and “Winter Wonderland” medley
  • Jimmie Allen – “Silent Night”
  • Kristin Chenoweth – “(Everyone’s Waitin’ For) The Man with the Bag” and “Jingle Bell Rock” mash-up
  • Darren Criss – “Happy Holidays / The Holiday Season” medley
  • Brett Eldredge – “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year”
  • NEEDTOBREATHE and Switchfoot – “Hometown Christmas”
  • Norah Jones – “Christmas Calling (Jolly Jones)” and “Blue Christmas” medley
  • Gwen Stefani – “You Make It Feel Like Christmas” and “Jingle Bells”
  • Sebastián Yatra – “Dos Oruguitas” from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Encanto” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” medley

We are so excited to enjoy a bit of Disney magic this Christmas season. In addition to these great entertainers, we will also see a wonderful look into the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World and get a special glimpse inside the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser.

There will also be a special look inside 2 of Disney’s newest films “Encanto” and Steven Spielberg’s “West Side Story.” Break out the Mickey popcorn bucket and be ready for all of the Disney magic.
