As with other resorts that have reopened, another dining location at Animal Kingdom Lodge will also be welcoming Guests again. Will you be eating here on your next trip to Disney World?
Animal Kingdom Lodge Reopening
Despite DVC rooms reopening last year, the rest of Animal Kingdom Lodge has not been open. That’s a real shame too because the hotel is beautifully themed, and seeing safari animals outside your room is an amazing experience.
Beginning August 26, all rooms will be available again at the resort! The All Stars and Port Orleans resorts all follow closely behind meaning every single Disney Resort will be open again by the end of the year!
With more Guests staying at the hotel means more dining options!
Boma – Flavors of Africa
Enter this African marketplace and be transported to another continent at Boma! All you can enjoy buffets were available at breakfast and dinner before the parks closed last year.
This is a Guest favorite, and many will be pleased to hear it will reopen on August 20. Reservations will open up on Wednesday, August 18.
Boma Flavors of Africa will reopen on August 20. Reservations will open up on Wednesday, August 18.
No mention of how this meal will be served is available. Will food be served family-style? Disney Parks did not say if buffets will return yet, but they have returned on the West Coast. Could buffets return to Disney with the reopening of Boma?
Official word on the reopening Jiko and Victoria Falls Lounge has not been announced yet. We are hopeful we will hear more about these two locations in the future. It will be nice to have everything open when the resort is fully open again!
