March Badness – KtP Tournament Vote For Your Favorite Villain Game 2 Of The Semifinals

It’s the second day of the Semifinals! Now is the time to see who won yesterday and vote for your favorite in today’s Disney Villain match-up. Read on to vote!

Disney Villain Tournament

This is our fourth tournament. Previously, you have crowned your favorite Disney Attraction, Character, and Restaurant. Game 2 of the Semifinals continues today!

It is time to find your favorite Villain, and who doesn’t love a good villain? Without a villain, we wouldn’t have our favorite heroes. We need your help to find which Disney Villain is the baddest of them all. Let’s find out yesterday’s results and vote for today’s villain.

How it works

We need you! Whether you are a new Disney fan or Certified Disney Pro, we want to hear from you as we narrow down your favorite Disney Villains.

This tournament will be like our previous tournaments – a bracket style tournament. We will begin with 32 contenders and vote until we get down to one. There can be only one big bad villain.

Each day of the tournament, we will bring you a new game with a match-up between two fan-favorite Disney Villains. You will be able to cast your vote for one of the two options to advance to the next round.

Like the last three tournaments, this is a single elimination style tournament. The Villain with the least amount of votes will be eliminated from the tournament. So let your voice be heard to find out who the crew will crown the baddest of them all.

The Tournament Bracket

With over 100 Disney Villains, there are a lot to choose from. We narrowed it down for you to pick your favorite out of some of our favorites.

THE BRACKET IS DIVIDED INTO FOUR THEMES: MALE VILLAINS, FEMALE VILLAINS, STAR WARS VILLAINS, AND MARVEL VILLAINS.

After the KtP writing team narrowed down our favorite villains, we are left with 32 bad to the bone villains for you to choose from. These include some of the classic characters and newer characters to the Disney franchise.

The characters are all lined up on the tournament bracket. There will definitely be some tough choices. I know I am already struggling to decide who my favorite is in some of these match-ups. Be sure to vote, so your favorite makes it to the top!

Both of these options will allow you to fill in your predictions and see which of your favorites make it the furthest.

This is a tournament the whole family can get in on, so be sure that you have a copy for each family member. Also, be sure that each family member casts their vote! Simply exit the article after casting your vote and then reopen it and scroll to the poll. It should be ready for a second person to vote.

Yesterday’s winner

Maleficent won yesterday’s match-up! It’s pretty clear everyone here agrees Maleficent is the villain that is bad to the bone in this contest. I have to be honest though. I am a little sad to see Gaston go, but Maleficent does have her very own movie and she turned into a dragon! Check out the results below.

Semifinals: Game 2

The second match-up of the Semifinals brings two franchises head to head, Star Wars vs. Marvel. Today’s match-up is Darth Vader vs. Loki. Who will come out on top? Who will go up against Maleficent?

Darth Vader

Darth Vader was a Jedi, but he followed a path to the dark side. After being defeated in a battle with his own master, Obi-Wan Kenobi, he was taken under a new master, Darth Sidious, who he would continue to serve for decades.

Darth Vader would then go on to destroy the Jedi Order. Eventually, Darth Vader tries to convince Luke Skywalker, his own son, to join him on the dark side. However, Luke refuses.

Loki

Loki has appeared in six Marvel films and will soon appear in a Disney+ series. This series is set to release in June 2021. Read all the details HERE. The newest trailer, which was just released, can also be seen HERE.

Loki is an Asgardian, who is considered to be a god from those of us on Earth. He is the god of Mischief.

He is known to make allies with other villains to betray his brother, Thor. Thor is his adoptive brother, as Loki was born as a Frost Giant and abandoned.

Polling will remain open until 9 P.M. Eastern time/6 P.M. Pacific time today. We will gather the results and compile them then.

We will reveal the winner of this match-up in tomorrow’s tournament match-up post. You will see which villain won and be able to vote in the next match-up. Be sure to look for a post around noon Eastern time.
