New: Soft Opening at EPCOT's Test Track

Guests were shocked to be able to enjoy Test Track weeks before it officially reopens. Find out what we know about other possible soft opening dates.

Test Track is set to open soon, and it has new ride vehicles, a new marquee, and even a new on-ride photo. Cast Members are among the first to preview the attraction.

Test Track will reopen to all guests on July 22, 2025.

Disney has also shared that Test Track will use Lightning Lane Multi Pass.When it opens, Test Track will be a "Tier 1" attraction when Guests are pre-planning their attractions. There are still a few days before Test Track offers Annual Passholder Previews, but we have heard that guests have been allowed to enjoy a soft opening of Test Track. One guest yesterday exited Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and was asked if he would like to hop aboard Test Track. The answer was, of course, "YES!"

Earlier, Ashley Carter shared on X, "What a nice Friday surprise: I was able to just get in line for Test Track."

Although the attraction is not officially open, this is great news for guests visiting EPCOT today. Tomorrow starts Disney Vacation Club Member Previews, and Annual Passholder Previews begin on July 13, 2025.

Tomorrow, July 12, 2025, starts Disney Vacation Club Member Previews, and Annual Passholder Previews begin on July 13, 2025. It will be interesting to see if a soft opening may be offered on more dates for EPCOT guests.
