Test Track

Test Track closed on June 17, 2024, and the project has taken a little over a year. We can’t wait to see the new changes for Test Track when it reopens on July 22, 2025.
Test Track will reopen to all guests on July 22, 2025.
Test Track has new ride vehicles, a new marquee, and even a new on-ride photo. Cast Members are the first to preview the attraction. Special previews are still to come for Annual Passholders, Disney Vacation Club Members, Golden Oak Residents, and Club 33 Members before the attraction officially opens to all guests.
Lightning Lane Multi Pass

Last summer, Disney Parks made a change from the previous Disney Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lane system that allowed guests to skip the line for a fee. The new Lightning Lane Multi Pass is very similar to the previous Disney Genie+ with a few exceptions.
Lightning Lanes can be purchased as a Multi Pass or an Individual Lightning Lane. There is also a Premier Pass, which eliminates the need for ride reservations, but it comes at a premium price.

Test Track will be a “Tier 1” attraction with Lightning Lane Multi Pass when pre-planning. Soarin’ will become a “Tier 2” attraction.
With the addition of Test Track to the “Tier 1” category, Disney has moved Soarin’ to a “Tier 2” attraction.
Disney has confirmed that a traditional standby queue will be used when the ride officially opens. Here at Kenny the Pirate, we are happy to see a Virtual Queue not be utilized!
