Disney announced an exciting update to attractions available for both Early Entry and Extended Evening Hours. This Walt Disney World Resort perk just got even better!

It is important to note that the posted park times may not be the actual park times. Guests staying at Disney World Resorts can enter all four theme parks 30 minutes earlier than the official park opening.

First introduced in 2021, Early Theme Park Entry allows guests staying at Walt Disney World Resorts to enter all 4 Theme Parks 30 minutes early. Originally, all other guests were held at the park entrance.

Early Entry has changed a bit over the years. Most recently, Early Entry changes affected EPCOT when Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind dropped its Virtual Queue, changes hit Disney's Hollywood Studios with the start of "Cool Kid Summer, and an even earlier entry at the Magic Kingdom.

Guests staying at Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts can experience the parks at night after everyone else has left. This is one of the many great benefits of staying at these high-tier resorts.

Typically, Epcot hosts Extended Evening Hours on Monday, and Magic Kingdom hosts Extended Evening Hours on Wednesday. This has been the case for the last few years, with a few exceptions.

This summer, this schedule shifted quite a bit, changing Extended Evening Hours that were typically offered at Magic Kingdom to Disney's Animal Kingdom for several dates and even Disney's Hollywood Studios.

At EPCOT, Test Track will finally reopen to all guests on July 22, 2025. When it reopens, it will use a traditional standby queue and will be available with the Lightning Lane Multi-Pass. Find out how this affects the Tier selections HERE.

The Walt Disney World website has now added Test Track to both Early Entry and Extended Evening Hours. It shows Early Entry Hours for its first day reopened on July 22nd.

This may be a game changer for many guests hoping to rope drop at EPCOT and hopefully spread out the crowds of guests a bit more from rushing to Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
