Refurbishments Scheduled for Walt Disney World Pools

Refurbishments Scheduled for Walt Disney World Pools

It’s the season for pool refurbishments at Walt Disney World resorts. Check out the recent refurbishments announced and see if it affects your upcoming trip.

This time of year is quite common for pool refurbishments at Walt Disney World. With the weather not as warm and crowd levels lower than usual, it’s a good time for pool refurbishments and maintenance.

Refurbishments

We have had a number of pool refurbishments already announced. Are you ready to hear them? The following refurbishments are already underway or have been scheduled:

Stormalong Bay

Stormalong Bay is one of the best pools at Walt Disney World resort! You can see Monica’s post about the fun pool here. Do you agree?

Today, we noticed two more refurbishments have been scheduled. Beginning in February, the Stormalong Bay waterslide will be closed for refurbishment. During this time, Stormalong Bay and the other three pools at Disney’s Beach Club Resort and Disney’s Yacht Club Resort will remain open.

There is no word on how long this refurbishment will last, so keep checking back and we will update you as soon as it is announced.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village

Animal Kingdom Lodge – Uzima Springs Pool

Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village, another refurbishment is planned. From January 2022 through April 2022, the Samawati Springs Pool will be closed for refurbishment.

Those guests staying at Kidani Village and looking for some pool fun can take the shuttle to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Jambo House and use the Uzima Springs Pool.

Will you need to change your pool plans for an upcoming trip? What do you think about the refurbishments that are planned? Tell us about it in the comments below or on our Facebook page.
