Mickey Mouse Shorts
If you have visited Hollywood Studios recently, you may have visited Mickey Shorts Theater, which features several Mickey Mouse shorts including, “Vacation Fun” and “Potatoland”.
I love visiting the Mickey Shorts Theater. It’s a fun place to see some Mickey cartoons, relax and most importantly cool off on a hot day.
Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway
If you have been on Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, the animated Mickey shorts should look very familiar.
In this attraction, you become a part of the cartoon world and it really feels like you are in the animated short with Mickey, Mickey and all of his pals!
The ride continues to be one of the top attractions at Hollywood Studios, along with Rise of the Resistance.
New Animated Short Series
Disney+ has announced another short series is coming soon!
Last week, we were excited to hear that a new original short featuring Olaf would be coming in October.
an all new animated short series titled, The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse is coming to Disney+ in celebration of Mickey’s birthday on November 18th.
The new series will feature Mickey, Minnie and all of his pals taking guests on fun new adventures.
According to D23.com, be on the lookout “for a mouse-terful combination of laugh-out-loud comedy, modern settings, timeless stories, new music, and the unmistakable art style of the Mickey Mouse shorts, which put a contemporary twist on a classic look that harkens back to Mickey’s 1928 beginnings.”
The new animated series is produced by Emmy Award-winning artist and director, Paul Rudish.
Streaming Now
If you cannot wait for some Mickey shorts, all five seasons of Mickey Mouse shorts are available now on Disney+! After the debut of The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse, two new shorts will arrive to the streaming platform every Friday beginning on November 27th.
At this time, ten shorts are scheduled to premiere this year with ten additional shorts premiering in Summer 2021.
That’s a whole lotta Mickey, and we can’t wait!
