We are in the home stretch of August and have Labor Day to look forward to!
Labor Day weekend is a popular time to travel to Walt Disney World. Many schools, whether meeting in person or virtually, will have a long weekend. Families see this as a great opportunity for one last summer hurrah!
If you will be one of those Guests who will be visiting during Labor Day, you may be discouraged by the shortened park hours. You may be looking for something to do to occupy your evenings – including shopping or dining.
You will be excited to hear that select hotel restaurants and shops around Walt Disney World will have extended hours for the holiday weekend!
Here’s the full list:
At Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Chef Mickey’s will operate from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm, and Fantasia Marketplace will be open from 8:00 am to 11:00 pm.
Sanaa and Johari Treasures will both have longer hours at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. Guests can dine at Sanaa from 7:30 am to 11:00 am / 11:30 am to 3:00 pm / 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
Johari Treasures will be open from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm.
Over at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Wilderness Mercantile will operate from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. Dining will be open at Whispering Canyon for the following hours:
- 7:30 am to 11:00 am
- 11:30 am to 2:00 pm
- 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Topolino’s Terrace and La Boutique at the beautiful Riviera Resort will also have extended hours. Topolino’s Terrace will host Guests from 7:30 am to 11:15 am / 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
La Boutique will be open from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm.
Bou-Tiki at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort will be open from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm.
Everything Pop Shopping and Dining at Disney’s Pop Century Resort will operate from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm.
Finally, On the Boardwalk at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort will be open from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm.
The above changes will be in effect from Friday September 4 to Sunday September 6 and will revert back to normal operating hours on September 8.
