Who knew this small change would create such an outcry among Disney Guests? Now Disney brings this back in the best possible way.

EPCOT rolled out a change recently that seems to align nicely with Disney's Conservation Initiatives. However, some fans are NOT happy about it.

All the fuss is over the new trash cans that have been appearing in EPCOT over the past few weeks. The innovative design features a foot pedal to open a chute to drop waste or recyclables in.

Not only are the new receptacles more hygienic than the previous ones, but they are also more functional. You see, they aren't just trash cans; they are trash compactors! Disney even created tutorial videos on how to use these new trash cans.

Many Disney Guests miss the traditional trash cans/table tops featuring EPCOT festival theming. With the start of EPCOT's International Food & Wine Festival, Disney Imagineers bring back festival trash cans...sort of.

Disney shared earlier, "As work continues on the Germany Train Garden at EPCOT, Imagineers and the Walt Disney World Engineering Services Artist Prep team are adding new magic".

Now the Germany Train Garden receives fun, magical touches for EPCOT's International Food & Wine Festival, including tiny, miniature themed trash cans.
