NEWS: Disney's Lakeshore Lodge Gets Opening Date

Disney has just announced when Lakeshore Lodge will open. Find out when it opens, and when you can book!

Disney Vacation Club is in the process of building its newest resort hotel, Disney Lakeshore Lodge. This new resort will be in the same footprint that was planned for Reflections - A Disney Lakeside Lodge.

Disney stated that the resort is "inspired by the majesty of nature and its enduring influence on Disney artists."

Disney's Lakeshore Lodge will have floor-to-ceiling windows that will help this resort's design connect to the Disney's animated stories that are inspired by the great outdoors. This will include inspiration from Bambi, Pocahontas, and Brother Bear.

Opening Date Announced!

Previously, Disney had shared that Disney's Lakeshore Lodge would open to Guests Summer of 2027, but no official date had been released. Today, Disney has announced that Disney's Lakeshore Lodge will officially open on July 1, 2027!

But When Can I Book?

Lakeshore Lodge bookings will open to Disney Vacation Club Members first on October 6, 2026. Annual Passholders will then be able to book October 7, 2026. On October 8, 2026 all other Guests will be able to book.

Cash bookings will be available for Disney Vacation Club Members on October 7th. Annual Passholders can book beginning October 8th. All other Guests can book beginning October 9th.

These booking dates are for CASH STAYS only. The date for when points will go on sale for this resort and when Members can book stays with points has not yet been released.
