EPCOT Location Permanently Closes Next Week

In less than a week, a permanent fixture of EPCOT's World Showcase will close. See how you can bring home a bit of this Disney magic before it closes for good.

Each of Epcot's 11 World Showcase-themed pavilions was created to represent each country's landscape, architecture, and marketplaces.

In each pavilion, you will find attractions, entertainment, architecture, food, shopping, and more. You could easily spend multiple visits exploring what each pavilion has to offer.

The best part is how immersive each pavilion is. Each pavilion is staffed with cultural representatives from the pavilion's country to provide an even more authentic experience.

Mexico Pavilion

Whether you're a first-time visitor or a frequent visitor to Disney World, Epcot has so much to explore! The Mexico Pavilion is the first pavilion on the left as you enter World Showcase.

Inside the pyramid, Guests can enjoy great dining, the Grand Fiesta Tour attraction, amazing exhibits, and an open-air market. There are a variety of souvenirs to enjoy, from Disney-themed souvenirs to authentic Mexican crafts.

One favorite among Guests is the Oaxacan Wood Carving stand. Offering unique wooden crafts, Guests could bring home a great piece of Mexican culture.

The Oaxacan Wood Carving stand will permanently close on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. The last day of operations is Monday, August 31, 2026. Currently, Guests can enjoy 50% off the entire store.

This is a sad closure for Guests. Many feel that these unique shops and experiences help to create the uniqueness of each World Showcase pavilion.
