Test Track Missing Feature Finally Returns
Before Test Track officially reopened, this feature was removed, and we feared that it would never return. It is back, and you do not want to miss this!
Test Track 3.0

EPCOT's Test Track closed for a pretty lengthy refurbishment back in 2024 and reopened to guests in July 2025. The redesign celebrates today's innovation while highlighting the past, present, and future. It includes both the queue and the ride itself.
The new vehicles offer a more subtle design to blend into the new attraction's theming even more. Each vehicle received a new interior, new graphics, and wraps.
Guests love this new Test Track 3.0 design, but some are still divided on the new streamlined queue. Many guests miss the opportunity to help design their own ride vehicle.
Feature Returns to Test Track

During Test Track Previews, as Guests would exit the building to get some real road testing, they would first pass through sliding doors. This was such a cool feature; however, after the doors failed to open, the feature was removed.
Surprisingly, last night, guests aboard Test Track experienced these breakthrough doors revealing the outdoor track.

Best Tips to Enjoy Test Track

Test Track is available during Early Entry and Extended Evening Hours. It is also offered as a Tier 1 attraction with the purchase of the Lightning Lane Multi-Pass.
Breakthrough doors have returned to Test Track
There is also a Single Rider queue located at this entrance, located at the far left. Guests are warned that they will be separated from their travel party when using the single rider option. If you hope to avoid purchasing Lightning Lane Multi-Pass, we suggest enjoying this attraction during Early Entry.
It is fairly common for the wait times for Test Track to be even higher than those for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
