Disney's Hollywood Studios Opens 4 New Attractions Soon

Mark your calendars because Disney's Hollywood Studios just announced when 4 new attractions will open. You don't want to miss this!

Hollywood Studios Changes

In the wise words of Walt Disney, the Disney Parks will continue to be reimagined as long as there is imagination left in the world. However, the current state of Disney's Hollywood Studios does not match the initial concept for this 3rd Theme Park at Walt Disney World.

With the removal of The Great Movie Ride, The Studio Backlot Tour, and Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure, to name a few classics, the original idea of MGM Studios serving as a window into "Old Hollywood" has changed.

However, this summer, several spontaneous character interactions popped up throughout Disney's Hollywood Studios. This gave us all of the nostalgic Disney feels.

Magic of Disney Animation

This past May, Disney's Hollywood Studios reopened a new land, "Magic of Disney Animation". While part of this land opened, the remaining attractions would open in phases.

Disney has now announced that "Drawn to Wonderland", "Off the Page!", "Olaf Draws!" and "Once Upon a Studio Theater" will all open on September 14, 2026.

There will be so much to do and explore in this newly reimagined space. The best part is that this space is a nod to the original Roy E. Disney Animation Building in Burbank, California. Finally, there is a connection to the "Old Hollywood" inspiration for this Park.

While we love the roaming character interactions this summer, these may be for only a limited time.

When Magic of Disney Animation opens on September 14, 2026, we assume that the current roaming characters at Disney Animation will eventually greet Guests indoors when "Off the Page" officially opens.
