Best Change for Disney World Bathrooms

Disney has changed one tiny thing in Walt Disney World bathrooms, but it makes a huge difference. Here is why we love this little change!

Disney fans plan for their favorite attractions and make the best dining reservations, but often, we overlook the many restrooms you will no doubt visit while at Walt Disney World.

The Disney Parks continue to change to offer the best experience for guests, both young and the young at heart. Disney has removed many of the Dyson-brand hand dryers in the restrooms.

These were replaced with additional paper towel dispensers. Many Disney Guests felt that the hand dryers made quite a mess in the restrooms and also took much longer for each guest to thoroughly dry their hands compared to using a paper towel.

I (Donna) do not want to think of certain things while at the Disney Parks, but sometimes the unexpected may happen. For years, female guests could purchase feminine hygiene products inside bathrooms.

Unfortunately, these machines only accepted coins. Recently, Guests have noticed that complimentary Aunt Flow feminine hygiene products are now offered at EPCOT.

Aunt Flow products are located at Imagination Pavilion, American Adventure Pavilion, The Seas with Nemo and Friends, Odyssey Pavilion, and the Morocco Pavilion. It is rumored that these products will eventually be available at more Disney Parks.

Previoulsy Guests were offered complimentary feminine hygiene products at restrooms inside Disney Deluxe Resorts. Recently, Art of Animation Guests noticed complimentary Aunt Flow products in the lobby restrooms.

The Aunt Flow company was founded by Claire Coder. Coder's mission is "to ensure businesses and schools could sustainably provide quality period products, for free, in bathrooms."

While no one would like to have to worry about these things while at Walt Disney World, it is great to know that these are now available for free if needed. Hopefully, this will soon expand to the other Resorts and Parks.

As a reminder, Guests may also request complimentary feminine hygiene products at the First Aid Center at each Park.
