Disney World Reports Resort-Wide Air Conditioning Outage
This is not good news for Walt Disney World Resort guests, as it now affects resort rooms and dining locations.

Many guests are well aware that the summers at Walt Disney World can be hot. This may be why summer is the cheapest time to visit Walt Disney World.

That being said, this may be the worst time to learn that your Walt Disney World Resort is suffering from an air conditioning outage.
Disney's Wilderness Lodge
Disney's Wilderness Lodge is a deluxe resort designed to emulate the beautiful Pacific Northwest at the turn of the century.
The Wilderness Lodge offers several dining options. Two of the most popular are Whispering Canyon Cafe and Storybook Dining.
Yesterday afternoon, June 18, 2026, Wilderness Lodge Guests began to share on social media that the air conditioning was out in the dining locations, common areas, and even resort rooms.
Wilderness Lodge Air Conditioning Outage
Disney responded by pausing dining reservations for both today, June 19th, and tomorrow, June 20th. According to social media posts, the air conditioning is still not operational throughout Disney's Wilderness Lodge.
Disney's Wilderness Lodge has been without air conditioning for 24 hours.
Some Guests reported that this may have been caused by a thunderstorm yesterday, but this has not been confirmed. We hope that the air conditioning will be fixed quickly. This is not quite a magical experience for guests visiting during this heat wave.
