Magic Kingdom Is Now Sold Out to Select Guests
This is not the news that many of us wanted to hear! Find out the full details for this sell out.
Disney World Crowd Calendar

You are planning a trip to Walt Disney World! You have your resort room booked, and transportation planned, and the next big decision is which parks to visit. One great way to decide which park to visit is the Crowd Calendar available on Character Locator.
Secondly, Park hours are a great way to plan which park you would like to visit each day. Walt Disney World posts standard park hours in advance, often extending these park hours.
Lastly, check the Park Reservation calendar. This is another good step to see how busy the parks may be.
Magic Kingdom Sold Out

Park reservations are still required for guests with non-date-based tickets and Annual Passholders. These reservations are limited, and if a park is unavailable, it is "sold out" for these select guests. This is a pretty good indicator that this Disney Park will be very busy on that date.
Now, July 4 2026, is showing "Sold Out" for all Annual Passholder tiers for the Magic Kingdom.
Disney highly recommends that you make your theme park reservation as soon as you complete your admission purchase, as availability can change until the theme park reservation is finalized.
What if no Park Reservations are available?

The good news is that Park Reservations are currently available for EPCOT, Magic Kingdom, and Disney's Animal Kingdom. The bad news is that July 4th is on a Saturday, which excludes Annual Passholders from hopping to Magic Kingdom without a Park Reservation.
Magic Kingdom is "sold out" for Annual Passholders on July 4, 2026.
If you are an Annual Passholder, keep checking for Magic Kingdom Park Reservations to become available. This often happens closer to the date, but is not guaranteed.
Do you think Walt Disney World should continue to use Park Reservations, or do you think this should change? Share your thoughts with us and share this news with your Disney pals.

The idea of park reservations is asinine but luckily we don't go to Disney in the summer and Magic Kingdom is our least favorite park. That's a long-winded way of saying this doesn't affect us.
