Widespread Travel Warning Issued for Disney World

Walt Disney World issues many warnings throughout the year to help keep Guests and Cast Members safe.

Guests devote so much time, effort, and money when planning a Walt Disney World vacation. There is nothing worse than not being prepared and being miserable due to weather complications.

One of the most important things to remember when planning your Walt Disney World trip is ensuring every member of your traveling party is happy and healthy.

Disney World Wind Advisory

The National Weather Service has now issued a Wind Advisory beginning at 11:00 am today, April 7th, through midnight. This will affect Northern Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, and Southern Lake counties.

Northeast winds are expected to reach 15 to 25 mph. Wind gusts of 45 mph are expected.

This Wind Advisory will affect the entire Walt Disney World Resort. Disney has yet to announce any closures, but be advised that strong wind gusts can affect fireworks.

Florida is greatly affected by a strong weather pattern this week. Currently, the coastal counties are under a Flood Watch.

This wet weather will possibly affect Walt Disney World guests on Wednesday, April 8th, and Thursday, April 9th. Current weather patterns predict 1" to 3" inches of rain potentially impacting Walt Disney World Guests.
