Guest Arrested at Disney's Value Resort
Earlier, we shared a disturbing scene outside a guest room. We now have full details after an arrest was made.
Bad Guest Behavior

Over the last few years, we have seen our fair share of poorly behaved Guests. Whether that be someone dressing up as Mickey Mouse, brawls breaking out, or a drunk man shutting down the Skyliner, we feel like we have seen it all.
This weekend, footage captured a man using what appears to be a suitcase to ram into a Little Mermaid guest room door. At the time it was unclear if this was his resort room and if Guests were inside this room.
In the video, it appears many Guests were witnessing this scene, which had to be concerning for many. You can see the footage HERE.
Art of Animation Disturbance

According to a police report, deputies arrived at the Art of Animation at 6:42 pm on March 22, 2026. Paramedics were already on the scene, treating those involved in the disturbance.
Guests residing in the resort room were a husband, wife, and two 4-year-old children. According to the adults, a fight erupted over finances.
The verbal argument turned physical when the husband grabbed the wife's cell phone and attempted to break it. The wife tried grabbing the phone, and her hand was cut by the cracked screen.

The wife reported that her husband grabbed her by the shoulders and shook her. While the husband reported that his wife struck him multiple times with a water bottle. Deputies witnessed such injuries on the husband's back.

It is unclear how the husband was seen outside the resort room in the video shared above. After gathering information, the police arrested the wife for domestic battery.
Police forwarded the case to the Florida Department of Children and Families for the two four-year-old children present during this disturbance.
