One drunk guest was disruptive enough to be asked to leave the park. Then, he shut down the entire Skyliner transportation system due to his unruly behavior. See the details here.
Disney’s Skyliner
Introduced in the fall of 2019, the Disney Skyliner became one of the best ways to travel around The Walt Disney World Resort. While you have to wait for other transportation options like the monorail and bus, the Skyliner is a continuous loading process. You can get from Caribbean Beach to Hollywood Studios in less than 5 minutes!
These individual gondolas take you and your party up into the sky as you see Disney World like never before! One of my favorite views is seeing the France Pavilion as my gondola heads into the International Gateway at Epcot. Many consider it an attraction that must be experienced just like any other ride at Disney.
You can read more about the Skyliner in this guide.
Recent Incident
However, a recent incident created a not-so-magical experience.
The incident started when a male guest quickly chugged two beers in about 30 seconds. This took place in The American Adventure pavilion where he also high-fived people and stumbled around in the line.
He then got into a verbal disagreement with another guest in the Japan pavilion, which is next to The American Adventure pavilion. By the time he made it to the Morocco pavilion, Disney security asked him to leave.
Then, he headed toward Disney’s Skyliner which sits right outside the International Gateway. He took his shirt off and continued to act belligerent, according to the police report. Guests around him were alarmed at his behavior.
This is when it got a bit scary. At first, he was reluctant to get inside the gondola. When he did, he was very close to falling into the area underneath the gondola.
As a result, Disney stopped the entire Skyliner transportation system, which delayed other passengers. Could you imagine being stuck in those hot gondolas because of some drunk guest?
At this point, the man was arrested on charges of trespassing and disorderly intoxication. Right now, he is out on bond and will likely agree to a plea deal instead of going to trial.

agreeing with Ralph, he should have been walked out by security immediately and not allowed on any transportation within the park, then arrested. Who would arrest him...city police?

Alcohol in moderation is not a problem. Disney caters to All Ages. If a guest is out of control they should be removed as what was done in this case.

Introducing alcohol in the parks was nothing but a money grab. I don't think it should be served in any of the parks, especially, Magic Kingdom.

This is what happens when you add alcohol to family parks. The bad apples spoil it.
