EPCOT Park Opening Just Changed in a BIG Way
We were not expecting this change this morning at EPCOT. Check out this change before you start your day at EPCOT.
Disney World Early Entry

Most Disney fans know that the posted Park hours are not the actual times that Guests arrive at the Park.
Early Theme Park Entry is a perk for all guests staying at a Disney resort hotel. All guests utilizing this benefit can take advantage of entering the parks 30 minutes before the parks officially open.
Even if you are not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, you can still arrive early and be among the first in line for "Rope Drop," the official opening of the Park.
New EPCOT Park Opening

At EPCOT this morning, both Early Entry and Rope Drop looked much different. The reason for this change is that Tuesdays at the Disney Parks are now known as "Pin Tuesday".
This morning, Cast Members held signs that directed Guests to the left for Early Theme Park entry and to the right for Disney Pins. A temporary Pins queue line was created with tape for Guests to join.
Once in this queue, Guests received a wristband which allowed them access to purchase pins at Disney Traders at Park opening.
The wristband distribution is similar to the process implemented at Disney Springs for Pin Tuesday.
Disney Store Pin Tuesday

Due to the popularity of Pin-Drop Tuesday, Disney has implemented several changes over the past several months. Back in December, Disney imposed a purchase limit of one of each pin per person, even for Open Edition Pins and Mystery Boxes.
Guests now join a special queue at EPCOT for Pin Tuesday.
Most recently, Disney implemented several safeguards to help protect inventory and promote equitable access during high-demand moments. Check out these new procedures HERE.
