Big Eyesore Arrives at Magic Kingdom

One thing that Walt Disney disliked was distractions that entered the sightline of Disneyland. He wanted Guests to escape from the everyday concerns and be immersed in lands of magic, wonder, and adventure.
However, Walt Disney also never wanted Disneyland to be complete, which means all Disney Parks "Keep moving forward." This is, in fact, the current state of Walt Disney World.
Magic Kingdom is undergoing the "largest expansion" ever for this park with the addition of Villains Land and Piston Peak National Park. A big change is underway at Disney's Animal Kingdom as the park welcomes Bluey this summer and prepares for the Tropical Americas expansion.
Cinderella Castle Changes
Guests walking right down the middle of Main Street, USA at Magic Kingdom, will now see an unwelcoming image. This morning, Guests spotted not one, but two boom lifts.
Earlier we noticed the draining of the moat surrounding Cinderella Castle. We knew the booms would be coming soon, and now it appears that this will be your morning castle view for the next several weeks.
Last August, Disney shared that the castle will be repainted to the classic grays, creams, and blues reminiscent of its classic look, complete with touches of gold!

Not only will this affect your Magic Kingdom vacation photos, but this refurbishment also brings changes to Magic Kingdom entertainment.
Large boom lifts are now present in front of Cinderella Castle.
While a large crane will be present for this work, Disney shares that cranes will be out of sight by noon each day.

I know Disney is Magical but give me a break. when work needs to be done there has to be construction equipment and Disney said the equipment will be out of sight by noon.
we were there a week ago around 11:30 AM and no equipment was in sight. a perfect picture of Cinderellas Castle from Main Street. Too bad you have to wait until noon to get a perfect picture. Get Over it and load yourself into a Doom Buggy until noon arrives.
