One of my favorite quote from Walt Disney is, "I only hope we never lose sight of one thing- that it was all started by a mouse." It is true that the creation of Mickey Mouse was a turning point for Walt Disney and Walt Disney Studios.

To respect the dream and vision of Walt Disney a variety of statues are located at many Disney Parks.

One of the most iconic is the Partners Statue, which is located at Disneyland, Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom, Tokyo Disneyland, Walt Disney Studios lot in Burbank, and resided in the formerly known Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris (now reimaged as Disney Adventure World).

There are also several other Walt Disney statues that are quite popular among Disney fans. At EPCOT, guests can sit next to Walt Disney at Dreamers Point.

At Hong Kong Disneyland, Walt Disney and Mickey statues are seated on a park bench. This "Dream Makers" statue debuted for Disney 100 Years of Wonder.

While another iconic statue is located at Disney's California Adventure. The Storytellers statue features a young Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse with the caption "We're just getting started," famously stated by Walt Disney.

Guests visiting Disney's California Adventure share that as they hoped to photograph the Storytellers Statue, the entire area is now surrounded by construction walls and scrim.

Sadly, Disney did not share that this statue would be blocked or possibly removed for refurbishment. There is also no date provided for when the Storytellers Statue will return to Disney's California Adventure.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Donna loved Disney from an early age. As a child, her family would joke that she lived in "Donna Land." As an adult, she enjoys planning and creating magical vacations for her family. She always brings a little faith, trust, and a little bit of Pixie Dust!
