Warning for Disney's Art of Animation Resort
Guests at Disney's Art of Animation are left disappointed. Learn how this recent warning may impact your visit.
Walt Disney World Resorts

Staying at a Disney Resort offers many great amenities, including transportation, early theme park entry, and proximity to the parks. Disney offers a variety of resort options to best fit each guest's needs and price points. These include value resorts, moderate resorts, and deluxe resorts.
There are five value resorts at Disney World, and three of those are the All-Star Resorts: All-Star Movies, All-Star Music, and All-Star Sports. Like the term "value" implies, All-Star resorts rely heavily on cost and theme.
Many Guests prefer Disney's Pop Century and Disney's Art of Animation that provides a value along with access to Disney's Skyliner transportation.
Disney's Art of Animation

Art of Animation offers a few different room options. The standard room offers a Little Mermaid room and sleeps four adults, but these would be very tight quarters for four adults.
This resort offers three different family suites that sleep up to six adults. These suites feature the following themed suites: Lion King, Finding Nemo, and Cars.
The theming is on point both on the outside and the inside of each of these buildings.
Lightning McQueen Missing

For several weeks, one icon has been missing from the Art of Animation. Lightning McQueen was once located in front of the Cars building, and many Guests would stop to take photos.
Lightning McQueen is now missing at Disney's Art of Animation.
Unfortunately, Lightning McQueen is currently covered with signage warning, "Lightning McQueen is currently at Ramone's House of Body Art getting his paint touched up. We apologize for any inconvenience."
This is the only location where Disney Guests can still have their photo taken with Lightning McQueen at Walt Disney World (since Lightning McQueen Racing Academy closed).
While we understand the need for refurbishments, this is still quite disappointing for Guests visiting the resort.
