Meeting Mickey Mouse Just Changed at the Magic Kingdom

Mickey Mouse may be one of the most popular Disney meet and greets, and for good reason. Find out how meeting Mickey Mouse at the Magic Kingdom has changed.

Disney Characters

One thing that sets Disney apart from any other theme park is the great character interactions.

Most character meet-and-greets are listed in the My Disney Experience app, but then there are a few surprise interactions. Due to the current expansion progress throughout Walt Disney World, many traditional meet and greets have changed.

For example, check out the rare characters now greeting guests at Disney's Hollywood Studios HERE.

Fantasyland Characters

Over the past several days, Guests have shared that Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, and Goofy have roamed throughout Fantasyland.

All four characters wear their classic costumes and greeted Guests between 10:00 am and 11:00 am. This was a familiar scene for "Cool Kid Summer" during Early Entry last year.

However, this is an added dose of Disney magic for Guests visiting the Magic Kingdom now. These character interactions do not appear on the My Disney Experience app or on any guide maps.

Disney Roaming Characters

Currently these function more as a roaming character where characters may pause briefly for a selfie or quick picture, but often will not sign autographs.

At this time, it is uncertain how long these roaming character interactions will be offered at the Magic Kingdom.

Guests hoping to grab that Mickey Mouse signature will want to visit him at Town Square Theater at Magic Kingdom.
