Universal Orlando Resort has announced that so many changes are on the way! In fact, every single theme park is getting new attractions or expansions, even its brand-new park, Epic Universe!

In fact, Universal just announced a brand new roller coaster for Universal Orlando Resort. Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift will make its debut soon!

A Permanent Ride Closure at Universal

Universal Orlando Resort has also announced that a permanent ride closure is on the way. If you are a Universal fan, now that you know about the new Fast & Furious coaster, you can probably predict what you are about to read.

We are about to see a wave of out with the old and in with the new. As Universal Studios Florida makes way for the new Fast & Furious Coaster, Fast & Furious - Supercharged will be permanently closed.

The Fast & Furious - Supercharged ride allows visitors to ride along with Dom, Letty, Hobbs, and Roman on a street chase in the middle of the high-octane world of the Fast & Furious blockbuster film, and even join the family!

Fast & Furious - Supercharged will close in 2027. The last day of operation has not been announced. But you likely have at least a year to join the family.

Unlike most permanent ride closure announcements, this is one that Universal Orlando fans might be ready for. We do not know what is replacing the ride just yet. There are so many options with all of the great IP Universal owns, and we can't wait to see what may come next.
