Weather Causes Park Closure at Universal Orlando
Universal Orlando has shared that weather has caused this park to close. Find out which park and for how long.
Cold Weather Moves In

Florida weather can put a few wrinkles in even the best-laid travel plans. What many do not often consider are cold weather warnings and winter weather advisories, but this month has been plagued with them.
Today, highs are only expected to reach 60 then temperatures are expected to rise on Thursday and Friday. However, extremely cold weather will move in this weekend.
According to meteorologists at WESH2, "By Sunday morning, temperatures may plunge into the mid to upper 20s across much of Central Florida, creating some of the coldest weather seen in a decade."
Inclement Weather

Universal has shared that Volcano Bay will be closed today, Wednesday, January 28th and Thursday, January 29th due to inclement weather.
Universal Orlando encourages guests to stay tuned to their social channels or call 407-817-8317 for updates.
We always recommend checking water park hours before venturing there, especially during the winter when cooler temperatures can cause closures.
More Closures Ahead

In addition to the closure from inclement weather, Volcano Bay has several planned closures next month. In fact, EIGHT days in February the water park will be closed.
