Choosing the fastest and most efficient form of transportation is key to a peaceful visit. You can see a full review of each form of Disney transportation HERE.
At times delays and transportation closures cannot be avoided, and guests need to be aware of these changes.
Disney World Transportation Closure

Disney's Wilderness Lodge and Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge are undergoing exterior refurbishment work. Disney posted a warning that from January 12, 2026, through early April 2026, the boat dock at Disney's Wilderness Lodge will undergo routine maintenance.
Due to this maintenance, boat transportation would close on January 12, 2026. This closure was expected to continue through January 30, 2026.
Today, Disney's Wilderness Lodge boat transportation reopened a week earlier than expected. This is great news for Guests!
Upcoming Disney Skyliner Closure

Another transportation closure will affect Walt Disney World starting this Sunday, January 25, 2026. The Disney Skyliner will be closed for a brief refurbishment from January 25-31, 2026.
Disney's Wilderness Lodge boat transportation reopens a week early from refurbishment.
During this time, the Disney Skyliner remains fully closed. Additional buses will be available at the Skyliner Resorts to allow Guests transportation to both Hollywood Studios and EPCOT.
