Recently, Disney streamlined viewing your daily plans with the new "My Plans" feature, is testing a new feature to search for merchandise availability, and now offers transportation alerts.
Cinderella Castle Change
There is nothing like that moment you first catch a glimpse of Cinderella Castle coming into view on Main Street U.S.A. in Walt Disney World. Similarly, there is nothing like that last glance before you head home from the magic, either.
Last August, Disney shared that the castle will return to the classic grays, creams, and blues reminiscent of its classic look, complete with touches of gold!
Disney confirmed that the Cinderella Castle transformation will begin next month, in January 2026. As with previous refurbishments, this will bring unwelcome changes to Cinderella Castle, such as a large crane and the draining of the castle moat.
New Warning for Cinderella Castle
Today in the My Disney Experience app, Guests are notified, "Cinderella Castle is currently undergoing a magical transformation."
Large cranes will be removed from Cinderella Castle by noon each day.
That is the bad news; the good news is that Disney shares that cranes will be out of sight by noon each day. Plan accordingly if you plan to take that iconic castle picture with your family.
