When Does Tron: Ares Come to Disney+

Tron is a popular sci-fi film franchise. This year, Disney released Tron: Ares, which expands upon the original Tron and Tron: Legacy films.

Soon, the action-packed film will be available for streaming on Disney+. Not only that, but according to Disney, Tron: Ares will be the newest movie to feature IMAX's exclusive expanded aspect ratio for all Disney+ subscribers.
This will ensure that the filmmakers' creative intent is fully preserved for a more immersive viewing experience at home. Subscribers with certified TVs and AV receivers can also experience IMAX Enhanced sound powered by DTS, featuring the full dynamic range of the original cinematic mix.
It all happens next week. The film drops on Disney+ January 7, 2026!
